Description

The Graduate School are pleased to announce that their annual research conference for postgraduate research students and early career researchers, which will be held on Thursday 14th September in Holdenby Lecture Theatre 3, Park Campus, is now open for booking.

Connected Communities: Diversity at UoN will feature papers from 18 postgraduate researchers, presenting a diverse mix of research areas. Each of the 5 panel sessions is themed, namely “Cultural shift”, “Identity”, “Behaviour”, “Environment” and “Technology” and includes research students from every stage in the doctoral process.

The conference also features the Graduate School’s first 3 Minute Thesis competition, an exercise in engaging a general audience with a 3-minute research presentation. Students will battle it out for a £25 prize and will be judged by 4 members of staff from around the University.

Please register your interest in attending the conference. You don’t have to attend all day, just come along and support our researchers as and when you are able. You can also read more about the conference and speakers on the Research Support Hub Conference page. The full conference programme will be released soon.
